juli operates a full EHR backend to store relevant user data. The EHR backend can be integrated into 3rd party eco-systems through different APIs, including HL7’s SMART on FHIR API.
Key steps of system integration
Planning and feasibility analysis
We start every integration project with the assessment of systems to be integrated and mapping out a realistic strategy. We draw an accurate as possible picture of your current software and its tech specifications and define all integration requirements with you and your team. This helps us to determine the scope of the integration project so we can offer you an estimation of time and cost. With the initial assessment we will also try to list all possible risks in the plan and ways to mitigate them.
Architecture modeling
In this step we will develop detailed blueprints of how your systems will communicate communicate with juli and vice versa. In this phase we outline the integration model, methods, and process in general. Preliminary and physical designs are created at this stage. In this stage we use our sandbox backend to develop first prototypes.
Implementation
During the implementation phase we run short cycles of implementation, presentation, feedback, adjustment. This allows us to fine tune at the earliest possible time to prevent unnecessary development costs.
The result will be an integration with juli which fits the original scope as well as the expectations to user experience.
Maintenance
Every system needs routine maintenance, and as a result, all integrations will need this as well. Scheduling performance diagnostics to make sure that all modules function flawlessly and no errors occur is strongly advised, if desired, our skilled integration team can handle this additional load for you.
